To cut through the noise, you need to step back and figure out where it's coming from, then create a plan to dampen or better still, eliminate the noise coming from the lack of framework.

Have you noticed lately that on social media, there's just way too much noise. I've been thinking about it for a while. I was talking about this with somebody today on LinkedIn and via email actually, hi Elizabeth.

There just seems to be way too much noise. And the thing is it kind of bleeds over to your work because you're thinking about noised rather than actually doing your work.

And it seems when I speak to new clients, whether they're in a team or a startup or business, or even a professional who work on their own. Forget social media, that, that was just the kind of proof of point. There just seems to be too much noise in their business.

Noise in the fact of that, they don't actually know what goes, where, where they should go to get that information.

If you're working in a team and someone keeps tapping you on the shoulder, that's noise to me that's noise. Why are you tapping me on the shoulder? You should, you should know where that information is.

They should know it, but the thing is the, the company, the business whoever's at the top, they haven't really thought through where that information should be.

They haven't really thought through a proper onboarding experience. I was talking about onboarding yesterday. If you have a proper workflow, proper system and proper onboarding framework, then there shouldn't be any noise.

And if there's no noise, you can actually get on with what you need to do, focus on the actual work that you need to do.

I was speaking to someone else on LinkedIn earlier today about... she's receiving a lot of noise, a lot of noise in the sense of they're asking her things that have been already discussed weeks ago.

Now, if you have the right system in place, that person shouldn't have to be asking you anything. And this is obviously really important. They should know exactly where to go.

Now, if they know where to go and they keep constantly asking the same question, you have to pull them aside and go, Hey, what the hell is going on? I mean, seriously, do your job.

God, I wish I could do that. If I work with someone and they did that, Jesus Christ, I give him a virtual slap... virtual slap.

Anyway, the idea is to get through the noise. And the only way you're going to get through the noise is to make sure you've got the right framework, and the right framework, depending on what you're doing is kind of easy to get.

Now going back to social media, the right framework for that to stop using social media. Topic for another video.

Anyway, that's the episode. I hope you're having a great day. It's Weekly Wednesday. Did you receive my email?
